Click here to watch one of my performances; hope it brightens your day.

I hold a Doctorate in Piano Performance (DMA), with over a decade of experience in the arts—specializing in Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary music. I served as a graduate lecturer at George Mason University for five years, alongside teaching private lessons to students of all ages, from spirited five-year-olds to retirees rediscovering their passions.

Some of my proudest moments include premiering a world premiere performance in Alba, Italy, and winning a solo performance with the George Mason University Orchestra. (And yes—once surviving a lesson where a student’s cat peed in my shoes. Resilience, at its finest.)

Life’s curveballs, including a Navy spouse lifestyle and the challenges of a transient career, eventually led me to an unexpected but fulfilling second act: finance.

Today, I am the Founder and CEO of Money Umbrella LLC, a brand built to empower families and business owners to protect their wealth, their assets, their loved ones—and everything they’ve worked hard to create.

I specialize in risk management, tax-efficient strategies, and legacy-focused estate planning, backed by a full-service financial planning firm with deep expertise across every major discipline.

Beyond business, I’m a proud mother, a first-generation immigrant from Vietnam, a postpartum depression survivor, and a passionate advocate for emotional and financial empowerment.I believe that protecting your future isn’t just about numbers—it’s about protecting your story.

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll likely find me on a yoga mat, testing a new Vietnamese recipe, or building an outrageously detailed Sims family, just for the joy of it.

My favorite quote of all time:

"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together." (African Proverb)

I believe the same is true in finance. I’m here to help you reach your financial goals—not just quickly, but wisely, strategically, and together.
